Well, the people who think they're so smart that they can centrally plan and control the economy and still have a free-market system are the ones. A cabal of wealthy, elitist control freaks wants for us to 'swallow' the fallacy (sounds obscene, doesn't it?) that their additional government will make us more free - when they in fact believe they should rule the world - actually exists and are even in the open these days.
