Study finds curfews not crime deterrent: "A California-based policy institute has released a study saying that youth curfews do nothing to reduce juvenile crime and may even lead to worse relationships between minors and law-enforcement officers.

The Center on Juvenile and Criminal Justice, a private group that says it works 'to reduce society's reliance on the use of incarceration as a solution to social problems', said the study shows that curfews 'are just another dead end.' "
