Pro-Life Democrats Won't Support Kerry or Bush -- 10/21/2004: "A pro-life Democratic group announced Thursday it will not support President Bush or Democratic presidential candidate John Kerry.
Democrats for Life of America (DFLA) said they are asked daily what their position is on the presidential election and have decided not to take a position because there is no candidate that they can support.
'Kerry is not pro-life and Bush is not a Democrat. We are receiving pressure from both sides. Some have accused us of being disloyal to the Democratic Party for not endorsing Senator Kerry and others have questioned our commitment to the pro-life cause,' DFLA said in an email."
