Just think of the many Black Members of Congress who have more experience that John Edwards who were never considered. Kerry could have requested their Democratic subchapter, the NAACP, for a list of 'potentials' for the 'Veep' spot. The white male is the smallest interest group in the Democratic Party and it accounts for 100% of the Democratic Presidential nominees and 99.9% of the Democratic Vice Presidential nominees (taking into account Geraldine Ferraro in 1984)."
