Ellis - 2004, May 15: "It is unfortunate that our TV media prefers to always blame the government for people who have fallen into bad situations instead of showing us how responsibility, setting priorities and making good choices can lead to wonderful lives. Again, there are those, who through no fault of their own, suffer through great problems. We all need to help them through our churches, other charitable organizations, and individually, if we can. But those who allow bad things to happen to them through irresponsibility and poor self-discipline must learn from their errors. Government must teach people how to use a �fishing pole�, rather than always handing out �free fish.�"
